Preserving Family Personal Papers and Photographs

Ever wonder how to take care of old historical newspapers, documents and photographs that have been handed down in your family through generations? Layce Johnson, Collection Archivist with the Idaho State Historical Society, will present “Preserving Family Personal Papers and Photographs” at the Idaho State Archives Multi-Use Room on Monday, March 11th.
The Idaho Genealogical Society is sponsoring this free event which starts at 11 am for the general public. The Preservation talk will be held in the Multi-Use Room at the Idaho State Archives, 2205 Old Penitentiary Road, Boise, Idaho. Even though the Merle W. Wells Research Center is normally closed on Mondays, the Conference Room will be open on March 11th for the preservation talk. Research Center hours are Tuesdays through Saturdays from 11 am until 4 pm. (208)334-2620; public.archives@ishs.idaho.gov. Website: https://history.idaho.gov/
